MgM Pat- You know you are welcome to head this way. We have an extra guest bedroom for you and your DH!
It will only cost some hugs and squeezies!! hugs1

Cindy/Pa- HA! That's funny! Although I think we all have a little cougar in them since we lust after one certain singer who can't seem to make his hair one color for more than 2 months!
Doing drugs is fun! er.....yaw'l know what I mean....
Tyler told his pre-k teacher one time that his mommy sold drugs for a living! Explain that one with a straight face! big smile

That picture is beyond hot! And Clay with those heavily drooped lids ...I almost didn't recognize him! Whew! Baby!

Joanne/Joanie/Mary...anybody else- I agree with pretty much what everybody has said here. I want him to be happy, and also find a great gal........and if it's Jaymes and he's happy...I'm fine with that.....but if it's not......I worry about him finding the right one, especially with a baby......I know it can be done...but it is harder.

Hurricane Hannah is over Raleigh right now! HA!
Clayton kisses to S and E

Hi everyone!

Just checking in. It took a while to find the yp's as I lost my bookmarks after the storm when I had to reboot the computer! DS is coming tomorrow to help me retrieve them. Thanks for the well wishes but the storm was a bust and quite frankly, we've had flash thunderstorms that did more damage. Not complaining though, we lucked out. Hope things are getting better for you MGMPAT.

Cheyanne love the Spam ad. Can't wait to see him in a couple of weeks! EEEEeeeeee he makes me go broke with a smile on my face!

Cindy You lil' cougar you! RAWR!

Good Morning.

Ladies, you always know how to put a smile on my face, an evil giggle in my laughter, and a nasty un-motherly like thought in my brain!

Yer the best! The Verra Verra best!

The picture, the cougar, drug sellers ... whew!

Go Cindy, Go Cindy, Go Cindy!

Amy e .. BWAH! Sounds like the time Tommy told the doctors that I threw him down the stairs! When what actually happened was I was carrying him down the stairs, lost my footing (like that's a surprise), fell, and landed on his leg with my knee, breaking it. His leg, not my knee. He was sound asleep, awoke to bashing his head off the doorframe and me landing on him. The first question he asked was "Mommy, why did you throw me down the stairs?" Ugh! I spent the next 6 hours trying to explain to the doctors AND the police what had actually happened. The things they say, in innocence, can make for either a really serious or really funny outcome!

Im definitely going to miss being in NYC when all of you are. I was really looking forward to it. Something positive always comes out of something negative and that just means that I'll be able to go to more concerts during the next tour rather than just the usual one! HAHA! I think I'm truly going to be an "enthusiastic fan" once I do that.

Anyway, this weekend is our local fair. So Charlie, a couple of my buds, and I are headed there today. (One bud in particular is REALLLLLY cute! *snicker*) I get to go in a wheelchair .. BWAH! That should be interesting!

mgm Pat and those in the path of Hannah ... Love and hugs with lots of safety prayers added in.

mgm Pat .. get in yer dang car and drive to Canada. Im right here waiting!

LotsaClayLuv to everyone! Stay safe!
blowkiss love clay

Forgot to check in last night... we lost our power for about 3 hours, it was still daylight, back on about 7 pm. The storm was over about 4 or 5 when it stopped raining and blowing around. We had no excess water in the basement YAAY! And only one tree got pushed over and now it's leaning on the trees next to it.

Please join hands and chant: NO MORE HURRICANES!!!

Cha Cha Ditto to that! I am a little anxious because in addition to not wanting people to suffer through them, I don't want any new "canes" coming along to cancel my flight to Spam in ten days. DH and I have tix to Spam opening night, and to Wicked and we are also having a cousins reunion (my side). I'd hate to miss all that.

Add me to the list of folks who have had it with the hurricanes! One of the residents here at my condo sustained damage from the heavy rains (we got almost 6 inches of H2O in less than 3 hours) - and even though her damages will be covered by the condo association's insurance, she is threatening to sue the association and the management. Geez.....for those of you who don't know anything about condo living, when you sue the association, you are essentially suing your own neighbors. I am on the association's Board, so I'll have to deal with this lady.....ya know, I do get discouraged about people sometimes. Why take the nasty way when life is so short?

Joanne....your itinerary for 10 days from now sounds just like Patti's! She too is going to the Opening of Spam and then on to Wicked.....although I don't think she has any reunion to attend. Smile It seems from reading around on the Boards that many fans are planning on doing Opening and Closing performances of Spam this time around (myself included) - but I don't hear too much about those going to performances in between. I know that Mary/MD and Amy E from here are going in December, but other than them? I do hope that more peeps will go throughout the run of the show.

And because I'm missing him, I just have to say: "C'mon Clay! Can't you just give us a glimpse of Parker? Or if that's too much to ask, how 'bout a blog? Just a simple little blog telling us that you're excited to be returning to Spam or SOMETHING!" I'm feeling a little peevish about the lack of communication, can you tell? scratch

This is interesting!

For the next few months there is a dinner theatre production (I assume) playing several places, especially around me. Called American Idol: Clay's Revenge

Look at attached and scroll down you will several showings in the PA & NJ area into 2009. Wonder what this is about? I hope is a nice thing.......

Joy yes, I was born and raised right across the river from NYC--on the cliffs! So now when I go back I like to visit family. I always took for granted all the things to do in the city because it only took me 20 min. to get there! We did go to an occasional play, ballet or museum over the years growing up but I think I go there more now since I haven't lived there in 25 years. I appreciate it more and well, Clay got me going!

CV has a "representing list" for each night of the 4 months of Clay's run. Yes, the opening and closing have quite a few folks but the other days only 2 or 3 people from CV. That may change though as it gets closer. There are also so many fans that go that don't belong to CV.

Patti yeah, wonder what its about?

Oh forgot to mention, I believe we only got around 3 inches of rain from this storm! Thats is nothing for us. We usually get buckets!

Also, DS restored my bookmarks! Yay for me and whew!

Joy - sounds like you got the worst of Hanna. Now I am concerned about IKE that might be headed in the same path as Gustav. mgm, keeping our fingers and toes crossed he doesn't pay you an visit.

Patti - wonder what the heck that show is?

Whoever posted that pic of Clay and Hanna - Lordy Lordy!!

Sure makes one wonder.

Why Miss Cindy, I do believe you have an admirer. Just keep him guessing, honey.

mgm, I think that hurricane was after your cousin and it followed her to your house. Hope things are in better shape when you return home.

We had a tornado warning here last night, it passed us by but hit Allentown. I saw pics of Raleigh being flooded by the storm. That seemed a little unusual.

Rut roh. DH and I just went to the east end of Ocean Isle Beach where we live (we reside on the mainland) and there was more destruction than I thought. We've been losing beach there every year for the last 15 years as the currents changed due to a couple of huge past hurricanes. Lost a couple of more houses (third row is now beach front in most places) and damage to a few that had pools--filled em up with sand or flipped the hot tub right over. Tore up the road as well. Sad for the owners but we are used to seeing this each year. Cheyanne is that what you saw on CNN? We make CNN every year.

I thought I better check in. Thanks so much for all your good wishes. We need them

We are still in Mississippi but will go home tomorrow or Tuesday. I don't feel like myself. I'm normally so happy and optimistic. I haven't answered any emails or posted because it makes me feel like crying.

I am seriously working on my disposition, though. We had to laugh yesterday. DH and I almost always go to five o'clock mass on Saturday. Yesterday we did the same here in Biloxi. Sitting right behind us and across the aisle were two other couples from our home church at the same mass. We all felt like home. The hotels are full of Baton Rouge people.

Jennifer, my daughter said the same thing....."get yourself to Canada." Unfortunately, I'm retired but DH isn't. If he were, we would board up the house and take a nice ride up north. It's a wonderful time to do that.

Amy e,thanks for your generous offer.....and I do know you mean it. Aren't we lucky that we now have friends allover the USA that we can rely on for help...and just good times.

Okay...thanks for listening to my latest whine....and I'll take some Brie with that, if I must....please bake it in a puff pastry with apricot preserves, though.

About that latest picture....very interesting. My personal opinion is not that Clay and Hannah are or have been in a romantic relationship. I can't see that happening while he and Jaymes are in the process of making a baby. That just doesn't compute for me.

We'll see....the man is nothing if not a total conundrum.

Patti....did you look at any of the photos from that Dinner Theatre web site? It looks like a verry low budget theatre experience, with amateur performers, and not even a very nice dinner place.

I honestly shudder to think what that play is going to be about. Probably not even worth the cost of the food to see!
