| Has anybody heard from Joanne?? Cha Cha he looks good! Glad to see he is wearing golf pants. Last year he wore jeans and I KNOW that is no no for most golf clubs. The Club I work at won't allow a person with jeans on even in the dining room. I guess they made an exception last year for Clay since he didn't know. Hopefully more Clack to come!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| Well I have been on line all night getting bits and pieces from Golfing event. I just can't seem to plug in to a cell cert, tried and tried. But he did sing POYB, This is the Moment, Mandy and another I am sure what it was. I was able to download "this is the moment" sounded great. Dinner for 6, where they live for $35,000.00! Wow! Where is everyone else???? I know there will be clack later or tomorrow. He sounded great on This is the Moment. Can't wait for the clack. Where are all my peeps???????? This may be the last we hear from him for a while. I needed some fun and discussion tonight? Where oh where are you guys? Edited..here is the play list: I don't have the heart (originally sung by James Ingrim)
Sorry seems to be the hardest word.
Right here waiting
Mandy
This is the moment (the first time since he sang this song in his high-school days).. remember that video?
Proud of your boy |

| Hey Patti, I'm here. Sorry, I'm late. I was listening to the CH cellcert. Pretty good reception. Scarlett said she will have her vids up tonight. She was right in front of him. He even asked if she would do the video for Proud of Your Boy for the winner. He asked if she was shooting in HD...when she said yes...he said great...now all of my mistakes will really show up. It seemed like a nice evening, all be it rather subdued. Wasn't Joanne supposed to be there? I wonder if the woman who bid $35,000. for the dinner...by the way she said she only wanted it to be for four...is a fan. No one said who she was. |

| Patti, I'm here, just barely! Spoke to Joanne after the festivities were over - it was very noisy and I could barely make out what she was saying except that he looked and sounded great and the evening was awesome. No word on any future plans. She'll post when she gets home. I'm so glad she was able to go! I think we should start chanting amy e's lyrics - we need to hear some tour news soon - our soon, not Clay's!!! Miss everyone bunches..................... and _________________ When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know Peace..........

| Patti I'm listening to the 2 songs I downloaded from tonight - the Ingrim song and TITM. It's so good to hear his voice like that - just him and a piano. Something about it will just always grab me. Maybe the way it sounds so intimate. We need to get up a fund here to bid on the next dinner up for auction. I've got 2 cents to get us started. _________________ ...and the wisdom to know the difference

| OMG--why didn't someone tell me to get out the tissues. POYB just about did me in--in fact, after listening to all of the songs from last night, I was practically a sobbing mess. I didn't realize how much I missed hearing him sing til I heard his singing from last night. So rush to Clack Unlimited and download...it is truly wonderful. Please, please, please let him tour...and please, please, please let me be able to go to at least a couple concerts (after being off for 7 weeks because of my back problems--my vacation negotiating power is less than none--and we had to put in our vacation request by Jan 9). I think I'll be back at work later this week. My doctor finally wrote the note allowing me to go back...it's just a matter of it going through all the channels to get me back. Now if I can just get the stupid insurance company to approve my short term disability aka STD I may actually get some money, which would be much appreciated. |

| I thought you all might like to look at the lyrics to "This Is the Moment" from Jekyll and Hyde. They seem wonderfully appropriate.. The bolding in the lyrics below is obviously mine. This is the moment! This is the day, When I send all my doubts and demons On their way! Every endeavor, I have made - ever - Is coming into play, Is here and now - today! This is the moment, This is the time, When the momentum and the moment Are in rhyme! Give me this moment - This precious chance - I'll gather up my past And make some sense at last! This is the moment, When all I've done - All the dreaming, Scheming and screaming, Become one! This is the day - See it sparkle and shine, When all I've lived for Becomes mine! For all these years, I've faced the world alone, And now the time has come To prove to them I've made it on my own! This is the moment - My final test - Destiny beckoned, I never reckoned, Second Best!I won't look down, I must not fall! This is the moment, The sweetest moment of them all! This is the moment! Damn all the odds! This day, or never, I'll sit forever With the gods! When I look back, I will always recall, Moment for moment, This was the moment, The greatest moment Of them all! |

| Just my nightly checking in......... Wow the video of POYB was so touching. I don't know how "Granny" kept it together, I would have been crying uncontrollably if he had sung that to me. I loved when she mouthed "I am" (proud of you) So sweet! Wonder what he will be up to now? I guess Unicef, I still have hope that he will go to Kimmel for Valentines Day... I came back to edit.......I just read probably one of best articles I have ever read about Clay. This person absolutely gets him. It is a no holes bared article but it nails who he is and his passion for helping people and even hints at his fashion sense (not). A VERY VERY GOOD ARTICLE!!!!!!!!!! Kind of long but a must read! Okay back to edit again..I removed the article from here. (taking up less space here) You can find it on Ideal Idol - called Clay Aiken: Measuring the Man. Really must read it..first time a journalist actually talked all about his humanitarian endeavors plus who this quirky guys is! |

| Real life has been verra demanding - but I wanted to stop by to say THANKS for all the stuff you great ladies have been posting here - pictures and song lyrics and articles and all else - very much appreciated! I started to DL the vids from last night but then realized they are mostly on Youtube - so sat and watched them ALL and agree with Mary that kleenex was definitely required. He sounded lovely, looked lovely and was adorable - and yes, I too love it when it's just Clay and a piano. Or Clay and a band. Or Clay and an orchestra. Sigh...I'm still just hopelessly in love with this man after 6 years. Patti.....that article WAS amazing. For someone who apparently does not like Clay's recorded music, she certainly stayed true to her journalistic fact finding....and praised the man to the hilt for who he is and what he does. Some of her kewl gay terminology is a bit much, but the content of her writing more than makes up for the sassy crassness, IMO. She reveals the man we adore!   |
