Your little kitties are adorable, Patti, no matter what the names. Lucky you and lucky them!

My little doggie, Jack, had what looked like an epileptic attack yesterday. One minute we were walking down the steps to the family room and the next he was lying motionless at the top of the steps with his head hanging down the first step and all 4 legs stuck out staight. I though he had had a stroke or a heart attack or maybe broke his neck somehow. I thought he was dead. After rubbing and pushing on his chest ( doggie CPR) he came to, but was dazed and confused and shaking for 2 hours. I had seen the second part of this behavior before, and now I know what it is. The vet took blood and said it could have been a reaction to the vacines he had gotten the day before, but since I'm pretty sure it's happened befoe it's most likely epilepsy. So I have to give him some kind of vitamin to "raise his threshold" to attacks. But he's fine and his usually pudgy self today.

So what is Clay doing???

MgM- When you get there, have a nice glass of reisling and enjoy!

Patti- Your new "twins" are adorable! Just like Pat said I would have to snuggle with them for a minute or two even though I'm a dog person at heart!

Cha-Cha- Your fingers must be sore. Good job. I don't even know how to sew a button on a shirt! HA!

Mary- The pics were wonderful. Hope you and DH have a great 4th together!

Suzen- I feel ya! I would really (x8) like to have some news about Clay and possibly singing/touring/bantering!! Not about some book (sorry guys), but his talent to me is singing! Not that I"m not a sucker and won't go buy anything with his name attached to it when it comes out though! Smile Hope pup is okay and no more attacks. Did they put him on Dilantin?

Hope everybody that posts/lurks here has a Happy July 4th I do read here everyday, but the summer is so slow for us at work that we (hubby) is redoing our basement downstairs into a game room, so we are spending a lot of extra time on that! Trying to finish before hubby goes back to teaching at the end of July! Love you guys!
Clayton kisses to cpnina!

A Must Read..says it all.

http://www.conclayve.blogspot.com/

Okay..need your opinion..What do you think of "Oscar & Emmy" for my kittens? Certainly did not have this much angst naming my son!

I have gone through: Kit & Caboodle
Ross & Rachael
Christian (the lion) and Elsa (the lioness)
Scully & Mulder
Of course: BamBam & Pebbles

But Oscar & Emmy kinda suit..........someone said it suits me because of my interests with TV and films.

Patti - if Oscar and Emmy fit, then make it so for they are both awards for being such a wonderful person!

My little Snookie (ok, she ain't that little @ 12 lbs) decided to raid a bunny nest on Saturday and carried (in her mouth) a baby across my neighbors yard, then the street and into my yard - didn't hurt it (unless you consider sheer panic), just wanted to play, guess her maternal instinct kicked in and when I made her let the poor little squealing thing go, she repeated the antic with another. Needless to say the rest of the weekend she was tethered! FYI - I am a dog person, but Snookie is more like a dog than cat . . . got to give some cats a chance, some can be as lovable as dogs and this one even comes when I call and will walk on a leash (its cheaper than a cat carrier for Vet visits).

Mary...really beautiful! You must be so proud to have such a lovely family.

Anni...I had to laugh about Snookie and the bunnies..... Smudgie one time brought to the front door 4 bunnies..two were dead by the time got they there, one seemed to be alive and I tried to give it CPR...hahahahahaha.. I blew on its face and pumped it's little arms but no luck. The last died overnight... But I knew it was her way of trying to give me a gift...

Mary - you obviously found your 'soulmate', lucky you and the pics are great too. Happy Anniversary!

Patti - thank God the bunnies were alive squealing and running when I made Snookie drop them. Just hope they made it back to their nest or were at least old enough to fend for themselves.

Did you all see Clay's latest blog? Can't believe someone in politics or anywhere else for that matter can be that 'dumb-assed' either. Wish it would have been some tour news or something else, I really miss Clay, but at least he is keeping us in mind if only to let us know what is on his. He's got to get bored soon . . .

Glad to see Clay is still not afraid to speak his mind. He has such a beautiful mind! It seems there have been many positive responses to his blog who are not necessarily fans. The man is a natural born political analysis. So many talents in one body....damn I miss that body though...........

I have not one bit of news, etc....I just thought I'd drop by and wave at my friends.

It's been so long since we've all been together....and don't know when it will happen. I wish I could go to the Gala but that's not possible. One of these days, hopefully.

Patti, how are the babies? Have you officially christened them with their names? My very old (19 years) kitty, Miss Lisi, is lying here on the couch by be right now. She won't let me out of her sight. So sweet and so lovable...but not near the laugh out loud fun of kittens. Enjoy!!!!!!!!

Hi!! MGM!! Miss you!!

Yes I officially named my two "characters!" Oscar and Emmy! "Award Winning Kittens for Sure!" The names fit them perfectly! They are both terrorizing the house! Full of energy and getting into EVERTHING! But so much fun!

I just happen to be in NYC today and dropped by the Shubert Alley to check it out. I saw the hound with Clay's signature for sale, representing Spamalot, for the Broadway Barks Event. Unfortunately I was not there right at the auction time so I don't know how it did. My friends and I did see Constantine M...there..wow he is actually quite appealing up close. My young friends were following him around! Mary Tyler Moore and Bernadette Peters were sponsoring the event but again we did not time it right to actually see them there.

The place was full of wonderful dogs up for adoption..broke my heart I could not take one home. So good to be back in NY and be in the Shubert Alley............I miss Clay and that place so much!

I went with my friend Beth and another girl to shop and celebrate her up coming wedding............we had a lot of fun.

cha cha and Joy, I can only imagine how excited you guys must be getting, knowing you're going to breathe the same air as Paul very soon! I never saw him or the Beatles, though I saw many others that were noteworthy (Stones, Joplin,Airplane,Dead). But the Beatles were always the first and best.

and now we have our elusive Boyfriend.

..............sigh....................
