Clay blogged about the name change to the foundation. Very nice presentation. He ended with something like "he knows we were hoping for other news but he promises more will come "soon"! He probably wants to let this news about the foundation to be front and center for now and career moves to come later. Gotta admire his passion for this foundation. A good hearted man for sure. I am still right here waiting for him as always.

Edited..sad Paula is leaving Idol..so disgusting that they pay all the men ridiculous salaries but not her! But that is the way of the business world...sad but true. I see it everyday. Show will not be the same without her but yes it will go on....too bad!

T-Mac started back to school today, I had two government medicaid audits at work and we've decided (friends here) that we are taking this weekend for ourselves.
Tommorrow we are going to Zumba and then going over to our local pub and doing karoke among other things that involve lots and lots of alcohol!

I read Clay was online last night reading at the OFC. I wonder if he was reading the birthday wishes for Parker thread. How nice that he dropped by to read them if he did. I hope they had a wonderful time celebrating his first birthday. Its such a fun time!

OT Amerca's Got Talent. What a sweet young man...makes me think of what Clay would have been like at this young age with a similar story of bullying. He's a dancer....enjoy... so cute. I love the end...I could see him on Broadway for sure like in Billy Elliot. Notice the "Hoff" crying! He did make it the semi finals. But I am really pulling for the "Chicken Catcher" guy..Kevin Skinner..a country singer (not my taste) but he just so sweet!

Anni--so sorry to hear your news...and I know getting a new job is scary...but I know you'll find something...and you know what...maybe it will be better and more fun than what you are doing now. You don't owe them anything...certainly not a two week notice.

Mary - I will be taking vacation shortly and working on my resume and getting it posted, have been accummulating websites, etc. since March. Only problem with leaving early is the possibility of losing 16 weeks of severance pay. But finding a decent job with insurance is the priority. Fortunately, I should be able to live off unemployment and savings for about a year, barring any unforeseen expenses, so I'm not in PANIC mode yet!

AGT - I like the Chicken Chaser too, but have missed some of the acts due to SYTYCD. Will be catching up the next few weeks and add my 2 cents.
