| You beat me to it, Patti. I was about to post a link for that article if no one else had. Really fantastic read. Clay has been one busy guy these past 6 years. Makes me feel like a world class slacker! Tomorrow is our 6th anniversary you all. We said we'd still be here, and we are. _________________ ...and the wisdom to know the difference

| cpnina welcome!! I remember you from LBFCA. I think my fandom is waning but then I hear him sing a few songs on a not too great cellcert.....and, oh yeah, I'm interested again. I, then see a picture like this...... and I'm completely fascinated with his looks. What an intriguing expression. I wonder why he doesn't have sunglasses on, though. The glare in Florida can be brutal on a sunny day. |

| Hey MGM! Intriguing is definitely the word plus I love those shoulders, he has great shoulders! That is something I always notice about a man, besides the eyes and well let's face it he definitely has the "eyes"! Welcome Cpnina..we are a small group but a dedicated group! My editorial for the day: I have read probably every article out there about this seasons AI that mentioned Clay. I find it so funny that almost all mention something like "where is the big voice like Clay's" or "we miss someone unique like Clay". Since this is our anniversay week and after 6 years these writers still look for and remember this man's big voice! I just love it! So many contestants have come and gone but they will never forget Clay. The previous years contestants always get a lot of buzz this time of year but Clay lives on year after year in the hearts of AI watchers and writers! Happy Anniversary to all who pass here may the "man" be around for a long, long time! Am I sappy or what???? Do you guys get tired of me posting so much, it is just my daily habit to stop by for news and to say hi! Love ya! _________________ The man owns my heart!

| Welcome, welcome to Penny.....a sweet Purple Page Broad who can now also be a wonderful Yellow Page Broad! I should be asleep but when I saw you were here, I just HAD to say hello! You will love this place. We are few, but we are large in heart and devotion, to our BF and to each other. You will fit right in! Patti...if you didn't post so often, I would feel that all was not right with the world. Your sentiments so often spell out what I am feeling too, but more importantly, your sweet self gives this board so much of its spirit and positive vibe, if you will. What would we do without you? HAPPY 6TH ANNIVERSARY TO ALL OF US - and to our incredible love affair with a man who is like no other. Aren't we just the luckiest people of all to have found him and each other? |

| Hi all! I wrote this little recap for CV. I guess you've read most of the details by now. I didn't get home till VERY late Tuesday night. please don't let this travel. I'm shy.. Okay, here goes. As you know, my friend and I decided a week before the gala that we’d attend. She had deadlines at work and I was really debating as I was kind of tapped out from Spam. We did luck out with $9 airfare from Spirit so that was a plus. She gave the o.k. and we were on our way. I have to give kudos to Jerry, Aaron, Diane and Kristy (forgive me but I’ve forgotten the name of the other woman who is instrumental in keeping things running along) as they worked tirelessly throughout the evening and I’m sure the entire day. It was fun to catch up with fans and look over the auction items. I so wanted to bid on the Master’s package for my DH who is a golfer. I still want to do something so special for him for standing by me last year when I was sick but the item was out of my reach at least for this year anyway. Maybe next year! My friend and I got very lucky and got the table right up front. He sang right in front of us. I guess you’ve seen from the pictures that it was a maroon pin stripe shirt, dark grey suit jacket, homina homina jeans and the brown **** *** boots of gah. He had “which way the wind blows” hair and I loved it. He was mighty cute as usual. IDHTHTHU really tugged at the heart strings—so sweetly done. Just me? Or was there a sweet message in that as well? I was also thrilled that he sang TITM and as he was introducing it as a song he’d done in high school, my eyes got big and I smiled in recognition. At that second he looked right at me and nodded “yes”. So it was either me or the ten people in back of me! Lol! OKI was next to me along with a CV acquaintenence who is a sweetie, btw! Another CV friend a was a busy bee with her camera—what dedication. I saw a famous clackgatherer as well keeping the fandom “happy” with clack. It was so cute when Clay addressed her. Clay was in great voice but you all know that by now. The other songs were great and so was the lyric generator as he customized POYB for “Granny” . I was dying when he decided to auction off another dinner with him and Jerome and 3 guests of the winner—it was so exciting! Especially with the CV10+ still in my mind. Watching him up close like that is an experience. I love his passion for his foundation. I love how he loves all kids so that they have a better life—he wears his heart on his sleeve. He has used his celebrity to do his heart’s desire and that is to help children who have challenges be “kids”. The last song was bittersweet. When will we see him again? I can tell you this. That smile on his face when he finishes singing and hears the applause is different than any other. He needs us as we need him. He may not always admit it, might even tease his fans for showing up A LOT on occasion (hee!) but there is no denying that singing in front of an audience is in his blood. He'll be back. Some way, some how...if not for us, for his “kids”. [/b] |

| thanks for the welcome, ladies!! I'm a rabid fan still of BF and I imagine I'll be one for the duration. His coming out was just a blip on my radar..I kinda suspected it from jump street, any way. Who cares?? Just sing to me, baby, that's all I need, and show up live somewhere I can travel to easily. Not too much to ask, I think.. |

| cpnina--glad you accepted my suggestion to look us up. I think you'll enjoy this place. patti--I too would miss hearing from you. joanne--great recap--I thought the same thing about IDHTHTHY--like it was once again a way of saying he was sorry some people were so hurt--but it was just what had to be My DH is off today, and I'm still waiting to be sent back to work, so I think we'll take in lunch and a movie. We'll probably see Ink Heart. I went to see Bride Wars last week and it was a hoot! |

| Jesse Vargas is featuring some of Clay's music on his website. Scroll down to the bottom of the list to the last two entries...he also has Quiana's "When the Lights Go Down". The quality is superb even though it's not a complete recording. http://www.shouthollermusic.com/music.html |

| Mary.....those medleys were fun to listen to again....brought back all the good memories from the summer of '07.....Clay on the catwalk (or whatever you call it!) in Philly, Clay falling off the stage and practically into Cheyanne's lap in NJ, Clay eating bugs in NH....oh, and the heat, the ever present heat! Jesse really is an amazing arranger... Joanne....loved your recap. I think you are one of the luckiest Broads...getting to be the Peasant at Spam and now a front row table at the GFI. Can I go with you wherever you go next time??? Happy for you that you had such a wonderful time, and I think all your thoughts/comments about our BF are right on. Especially this: He'll be back. Some way, some how...if not for us, for his “kids”. I agree - and it gives me hope. cha cha....I am amazed at how much "material" you've creatively gathered for Claymatized over the years. Your site is kinda like a Wikipedia on Clay Aiken, only better!!! |
