Patti, you are such a joy! I can't believe we've never actually met one another. I consider you a good friend already....just think how sweet it will be when we actually spend time together.

AND WE WILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know!! We'll go to a party that ChaCha gives.

Can't begin to try and catch up with all the photos - suffice it to say I enjoyed them all whether dressed up or just regular.

Took in a little kitty last night - she showed up a few days ago to gulp down the food I put out for all the strays. It got down to freezing last night and she is such a sweetie (rolls over for rubs, etc), thought she was declawed but found little ones tonight. Not going well with Snookie (lots of hissing, few fights, jealously both ways) - don't think its gonna work out and will probably need to drop her off at the Humane Society, hate to do it but don't want to get Snook too upset, she was here first.

Where the heck is Clay????

Awww, Annie. Too bad that little kitty didn't wind up on our doorsteps. Since we lost Lisicat last month it's kinda sad around here. I miss having a warm fuzzy thing...be it cat or dog. We used to have both and now it's just us humans. It gets lonely. I'm sure it won't be long.

Yeah! Where the heck is Clay?

Hey Anni..I am with MGM...maybe Snookie will get to love the new kitty!!! I am so glad I adopted two from same litter. They love each other and have so much fun. No fighting...I have had so many cats that never got along but these two just adore each other. What a pleasure. Oscar and Emmy are so pleasant, no hissing, no biting ..just fun and joy! And all they want from me is a little love and affection...couldn't ask for more.

Poor Oscar has to go for his "procedure" in a few days...funny the vet ask me if his "buttons" were showing..never heard that expression for "balls".. How funny...his buttons are showing for sure. Wonder if Clay's "buttons" are showing...........ha ha ha

WOW, once again I am waaaaay behind here! RL has been just toooooo busy! It was great to Cindy and meet Ted on Sunday – I wish they could have stayed for our appetizer and dessert party. They make a great couple and I am sooooo happy for them both!

mgm pat and Pat – I know this is much belated, but I am so happy and relieved for both of you for the good test results.

{{{mgm pat}}}}, I was soooo sorry to read about the loss of your kitty. Our furry family becomes so much a part of our lives and it is so hard to lose them.

Jennifer – that can’t be Charlie – he looks all grown up! And, such a handsome young man – give him an extra big birthday hug for me! YAY for the Disneyworld trip – so glad you had a great time! Would love to see a pic of you and your special guy, too!

Amy – love your pix – thanks so much for sharing them with us! You've got a couple handsome men in your life, too!

Mary – I definitely want to see your Halloween costume – please post a pic. I hope your back problems have eased and you’re feeling better now.

Patti – sorry to hear about the layoffs – hopefully, your job is safe. No Halloween party for us, we had the appetizer and dessert party on Sunday instead - lots and lots of yummy appetizers and desserts. We do the party twice a year – once around Halloween and then again around Valentines Day.

Cha Cha’s Halloween party sounds like a fun time and I would definitely be up for a party at her house anytime!

Joy – I can really relate to your busy life as mine has been in overdrive for quite some time! I am looking forward to some down time soon, but looking at my schedule for the next few weeks, that isn’t going to happen any time soon – maybe after December! Loved Maya and her coworker’s Halloween costumes – very clever!

Anni – it may take a few days but I’m sure the new kitty and Snookie will be best friends. The last little guy we brought in from the cold (Robin – hmmmm, wonder where he got that name???) caused plenty of hisses and angry meows, most especially from Merry (Christmas – a stray I found right before Christmas a few years ago), but now they snuggle together. Give it a few days before you take it to the Humane Society.

suZen, so happy you made it back from the snowy vacation and that you didn't spend the whole time stuck in a snowed in airport!

The kitchen project seems to have taken on a life of its own. When we started we were only replacing the cabinets/countertops/window/stove. Well, after installing the new cabinets my DH, who didn’t even want to do the project to begin with, started looking around and thinking that “this doesn’t look right and that doesn’t look right” so we’ve moved beyond the original project and have now or will be replacing everything that can be replaced. I’d like it all to be done and over with but unfortunately the window that we ordered at the end of August came in wrong and we had to reorder it twice. DH is picking up the window tonight after work so hopefully we can finish this project before Thanksgiving! Oh, and trying to house train a puppy and doing a remodeling project at the same time isn't fun! I was beginning to think it would never happen, but he is finally doing his business on the outside of the house instead of inside!!!

Tonight I am off to see Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana – not because I’m a fan, but because it’s an early Christmas present to our four little granddaughters who are fans! I was lucky enough to score fifth row center seats for them, which are actually the first row right in front of the catwalk. Can’t wait to be in a huge arena with thousands of screaming children – sort of like a Clay concert with all of us screaming “teenagers”!

Speaking of Clay – I hope we hear some news soon! It was wonderful to see/hear him at the gala, but that definitely wasn’t enough Clay time for me! I’m looking forward to scheduling my 2010 vacation around Clay and his tour schedule, not for gardening/home improvements like I have the past couple years!

Back to work………….

Much love and huge hugs to all – I miss you all incredibly much, oh, and that Aiken guy, too!

hello, one and all--I'm here somewhere--been reading every day but haven't really had anything to share. I also miss our guy--sigh...loved all the Gala Clack, and LOVED "Moon River".
My life's pretty quiet right now. Just work, sleep, TV. BO-ring!

Kisses to everybody!!

Charlie is a nice looking young man. He's going to be a lady killer! lol! I see a lot of you in him, Jennifer. Sure can tell he's mom's boy.

big hug 2 and prayers for those with job issues and illness and big hug 2 for the weddings coming soon too! AND big hug 2 for those who are able right now to kick RL's booty and have some fun! Not always easy, I know!

I went to see "South Pacific" in Raleigh yesterday with a friend. It was awesome!

Hey! Where is Clay?

YEEEEEEEEPEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's a little recap!

Ok... canuck2010 outed me, so I'm coming out of lurkerdom just this once.

I'm glad to read that you guys appreciate the clack. I know the video quality and camera work is awful, but now I really know how talented the more seasoned clack gatherers are. You guys are the best!

David Foster had a schtick going on (which I'm sure you guys have heard about by now). After singing a note, David would ask a member of the audience in the front row to come up to the microphone and sing it back to him. The first two times, the audience members were normal audience members. But the third and final time, it was Clay!

David sang a note, and Clay sang it back but the note was too high. David said something to the effect of what he can do when he produces and then sang another note. Clay sang it back perfectly. David then introduced Clay as his brother-in-law, mentioned that his sister and Clay had a baby together, and invited Clay to come up on stage. I started to flip out, said OMG about 20 times in a row, and set my digital camera to video mode as fast as I could!

Clay looked great! His hair was brown, not red. I'm glad that someone gave him a jacket to wear on stage so he could comply with the "dress code." Clay was very enthusiastic during Ruben's set. From where I sat (very far away from the stage), I could see Clay in the front row clapping his hands above his head after Ruben's songs and waving his arms around after Ruben's request. Near the end of Charice's set, someone came by the front row, and Clay ducked and ran along the front row to go backstage.

yaay! yaay! yaay! yaay! yaay! yaay! yaay! yaay!

OMG--just when I thought I was fading a bit from the fandom, I hear this and am sucked back in again. His voice is just SO beautiful. I hope he records this song some day...although a recorded version would never do it justice.

love clay

Thanks Cheyanne for bringing it over...and thanks cha cha for the still. And Joanne NC...where is the photo from, and who are the guys with our guy?
